Hi! I’m Aleah! I’m a homeschooling mom to 7 children ages 7-16. I have been married to my loving husband for 21 years. My family moved to Sutton Alaska the summer of 2017, relocating from the Pacific Northwest where I spent my childhood through early adulthood in Oregon, spending about 7 years in Washington before coming to Alaska. We do our best to live life simply and have small homestead dreams that we get closer to every year.
My passion for photography began when I was a teen, starting as a hobby, then as a side gig while I had a “real” job. A few years before my first child was born I was able to secure a full time photography job working for a photography studio, where I received most of my training. After my first child was born, I knew I wanted to stay home to care for him, so I started up my own photography business part time. It grew for many years before our relocation when I realized our 6 young children took most of my time and set the business to the side. I would photograph for friends and family and the occasional request, but it wasn’t until early 2026 that I realized I was ready to jump back into offering photography services here in Alaska!
I am excited to be on this path again and look forward to working with you to capture your family memories.
